Much has been written about the relationship between psychoanalysis and Marxism. This book shows that any attempt to mix between the two conceptions is from any point of view impossible. It also makes a tour of the epistemological potential of Marxist theory to approach the human psyche from a scientific and humanist perspective, while highlighting the theoretical and technical limitations of psychoanalysis. Mucho se ha escrito acerca de la relacion entre psicoanalisis y marxismo. Este libro muestra que todo intento de mixtura entre ambas concepciones es desde todo punto de vista imposible. Asimismo, hace un recorrido sobre las potencialidades epistemologicas de la teoria marxista para acercarse al psiquismo humano desde una perspectiva cientifica y humanista, al tiempo que destaca las limitaciones teoricas y tecnicas del psicoanalisis.
